Fall Tournament Info

Here's the link to the tournament bracket (it is at the very bottom of the page) We are #1 seed. Our first game is Thursday @ 6 at RICK KLEIN FIELD. This is a different locaiton so please call if you need directions. The Lowe's, Nurek's and Ladd's are doing snacks for the tournament, if we have more games and need more volunteers we will send out a text. Thanks and GO REDSOX!!!

Game Ball Winner #9 - Nathan U.!!!!

Nathan hit the ball farther than he probably ever has this game. It was a hard hit triple to right field. He always plays good defense on the field and does great at 3rd base. He also does a great job listening to the base coaches. Nathan always gives his best and does an awesome job. WAY TO GO NATHAN!!

Game Ball Winner #10 - Blake!!!!
Blake was our game ball winner #10 because he had his best hit ever that game!! He hit a hard line drive that scored some runs!! Blake always has a smile on his face and a great attitude! He never gives up and always tries his hardest! We are so glad to have Blake on our team!! WAY TO GO BLAKE!!!

Game ball #11 - Nathan D.!!!!
Nathan hustles and hits the ball EVERY single game. He is intense and loves the game of baseball! He had some great plays at pitcher and a homerun! Nathan gives 110% every single game and he is extremely coachable! We are glad to have him on our team. WAY TO GO NATHAN!!!!

Game ball winner #12 - Marshall!!!

In our 16-1 win over the Cardinals, Marshall had a great game and some great hits - including a hard hit homerun!! Marshall plays where ever he is needed and alwasy has a great attitude. He is not only a great baseball player but an extremely respectful kiddo and we are lucky to have him!! WAY TO GO MARSHALL!!

Game Ball Winner #8 - MASON!!

Our game ball winner #8 is Mason R.!! Mason is an excellent player that shows up every game and every practice ready to play! He had a home run that was one of the hardest hit balls this season! He also runs the bases great and is incredibly fast! Mason is a clutch player that we can use anywhere on the field because he knows the game so well. We are so glad to have him on our team! WAY TO GO MASON!!

Game Ball Winner #7 - MASON!!

Our game ball winner #7 is Mason!! Mason had some great hits in a really tough game and he also had his first ever DOUBLE play! He fielded the ground ball, tagged out the runner and made a great throw to first!! His double play was at a clutch time and definitely helped us beat the Canes! Mason practices and plays hard every time! WAY TO GO MASON!!!

Game Ball Winners #5 & #6!!

Game Ball Winner #5 - BLAZE!!!
Blaze had his first HOMERUN and a triple!! He also played some at short stop, which is a position he is not used to playing. Blaze does great at games and at practice and is always excited and willing to do anything the coaches ask! We are so glad to have Blaze on our team! WAY TO GO BLAZE!!

Game Ball Winner #6 - ANDERSON!!
Anderson had 3 great hits yesterday in the game and stopped two balls in the outfield that kept the other team from scoring. He is extremely coachable and every time the coaches teach him something he does it that way every time. He has improved a ton since the first of the season and is an absolutely great kid to be around and to coach. We are also so excited to have Anderson on our team this season! WAY TO GO ANDERSON!!!

Game Ball Winner #4 - Cayden!!

Our game ball winner #4 is Cayden!! Cayden is an awesome baseball player and gives 150% every game and every practice!! He had some great hits at our game and he runs hard every time! We are so glad to have Cayden on our team! WAY TO GO CAYDEN!!

Game Ball Winner #2 - FORD!!!
Ford is a new player for us this fall and he is doing great! He had two awesome hits at our game and always comes to practice with a good attitude and works very hard! He is improving each week! We are so glad to have Ford on our team! WAY TO GO FORD!!

Game Ball Winner #3 - PRESTON!!!
Preston has improved a ton over the summer! He reports working extremely hard with his dad in the front yard and it certainly paid off when he made a clutch play at short stop that included a great throw to first base! Preston also comes to practice ready to work hard and he is an awesome kid! WAY TO GO PRESTON!!!

Game Ball Winner #1- TATE!!!!

Tate had a triple right when the team needed it and then he ran the bases so fast he was hard to see from the stands!! He also did a great job at catcher :) Tate has made so much progress and he is an all around great kid. WAY TO GO TATE!!

New Fall Season!!

We are so excited for the new fall baseball season! We had such a great time in the spring and we know the fall will be just as fun for the families and the boys! We have a few new players joining the team and we will have our new roster up later this week. The schedule should be coming out from the YMCA very soon. As for now our practice times are:

Game Ball Winners #12 & #12 1/2

Game ball winner #12 went to Nathan Urioste. Nathan is a hard-working kid that has improved a ton this spring. Nathan had 2 hits with several RBI's in the 18-3 win vs. the White Sox. Nathan is asked to play several different positions and does a great job no matter where he plays. Nathan played his first game at catcher (I thought it was Pudge Rodriguez) in the big win and I really enjoy having him on our team! Great Job Nathan!!

Also, Nathan's dad, Jeremy, received game ball #12 1/2 for his cat-like efforts of saving many game balls from total destruction by the mud puddle, lake, pond or whatever you want to call it that was in front of our dugout. We would have been playing without a ball if it weren't for you, Jeremy!! Thanks! :)

Game Ball Winner #11!

Game Ball winner 11 is Preston Lowe!! Pr eston gives his best every single day. He continues to improve his game and is a huge asset to our team. He made a key play in the outfield that gave us a chance to win the game. Although we came up short, Preston's efforts on Saturday were huge!! Preston is a great kid!! Way to go Preston!!

Game Ball Winner #10

Game ball winner #10 is Blake Nurek. Blake is one of those kids that I love to see because he always runs up to me and gives me a hug! Blake is one of the smallest kids on the team but can definitely hold his own. He plays the game hard and loves baseball. He is another one of the many on our team that has come a million miles since the beginning of the season! Way to Go, Blake!!

Game Ball Winner # 9

This game ball winner is Trey Thomas. He gives 100% of everything he does and is always willing to play wherever I need him to without any complaints. He continued to give awesome effort even with the horrible weather during our game. He is always smiling, even when he is running a hundred miles an hour!! :) Way to go Trey!!

Game Ball Winner #8

This game ball went to a kid that has a knack for fielding ground balls. The recipient is Nathan Diaz. Nathan is a great kid that hustles everywhere he goes on the field. You can't give Nathan boundaries on the field because the kid can absolutely cover some ground. I enjoy having Nathan on our team! Way to go Nathan!

Game Ball Winner #7

The game ball winner #7 went to Tate Davenport. Tate has come one-million miles since the beginning of the season. He is a very funny kid and can let some of the biggest burps out. I really enjoy having Tate on our team. He has come up with some clutch hits lately and had a hit that was more clutch than any other with bases loaded to knock in two runs. Way to go Tate!!

Game Ball Winner #6!

Our game ball winner from Tuesday night was Erik!! Erik had 10 RBI's and 3 home runs (one that was a grand slam!) He does a great job at first base and he always has a big smile on his face! Way to go Erik!!

Game Week!

Our first game is set for this Saturday, April 4th. The YMCA has not released schedules yet. As soon as they do we will have the game schedule posted and we will also hand out copies. Our uniforms will also be ready this week.

We will practice our normal pracitce schedule this week - Monday and Thursday at 6:15 and Sunday at 4:00 all at the South YMCA.
